I stayed at the La Maison for 3 months. I love the hotel. The staff is so friendly and treated me like family. On top of that the restaurant is just thrilling...not just because of the delicious French cuisine they serve, but also the view is just breathtaking! Everytime I visit Istanbul, I will definately stay at the La Maison Hotel!!!
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone at the hotel making my 3-months-stay very comfortable!

THY online bilet sayfasindan sonra HRS ten otel arama motorundan karsıma cıktı bu otel hem adi hem lokasyonu cok dikkatimi cekti ve Isyanbul da ilk kez farkli bir yerde kalmaya karar verdim, otele ilk girisimden itibaren sicak samimi ve cok zarif bir otel oldugu belli oldu....
Terasta yedigim ilk gunku ogle yemegi tam anlamiyla harikaydi muhtesem bogaz manzarasi esliginde bonfile ve sarap cok guzel ve lezzetli idi...
Tebrikler, kalitenin devamini dilerim, bundan boyle istanbul a olan is seyahatlerinde ilk tercihim bu otel olacaktir, ayrica en kisa zamanda esim le birlikte gelip ayni zavkleri onunla paylasmayi dusunuyorum...

La Maison is a very clean, attractive, modest 34-room boutique hotel. After you have braved a hill as steep as any in San Francisco, you walk directly into the reception area. It might be mistaken for a living room, with its small desk and freely available computer, sofas and armchairs and built-in bookshelves (stocked, I might add with volumes so outdated and dull that no would ever think of borrowing much less reading any of them).
The six floors of rooms are small inside and out, the furnishings simple but adequate. No large screen televisions or glass enclosed showers here.
As the name suggests, this hotel--with its French dinner menu and well-lit colorful prints on the walls, its gentle recordings of Frank Sinatra and other American recordings from the '50's could as well be in Paris as Istanbul. That is until you go onto the small balcony adjoining your room or make your way to the spectacular terraced restaurant on the top floor! There spread out before you, is the most wonderful view of the Bosphorus as it makes its way past the Topkapi Palace, the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque and so much more of the incomparable natural beauty that is Istanbul.
The cost of the hotel, while not cheap, is reasonable enough and the buffet breakfast varied and generous. All in all, it's a far better value than the nearby opulence of the Ciragan Palace or the newly opened Four Seasons just down at the foot of the hill. You should visit both of them for Turkish coffee and a complimentary English newspaper and find yourself mesmerized by the enormous freighters sliding silently by at ship level on their way to and from the Black Sea. But be sure to reserve your stay at La Maison with the very accommodating Raife and say "hi" to some of the other gracious Turkish staff--Nur and Ipek at the front desk, Haydar in operations, and Erhan and Nuh in the restaurant.

Gem of a small boutique hotel. View is worth it
I stayed at LA MAISOn with my family and a group of friends and we basically rented the hotel for 10 days. The service was wonderful. The staff was great and very personable. I went to Istanbul with a little concern about this hotel, since I have never stayed at a small hotel, but this was worth every penny. The front lobby staff was courteous and friendly. They did exactly what we told them to do. They helped us with any language barriers and communicated efficiently. The hotel is located on avery steep hill and can cause a little pain but the taxis were able to access the hotel without any problems. The view from the terrace is AMAZING. Great photos and worth a visit. Breakfast was decent but the same for daily routine. ighly recommend this small and cozy place. The beds were also very comfortable.
A big shout out to all the staff including the following members - Nur, Ipek, Irem, Haydar, Nuh and others. Nur speaks english and is very friendly and courteous. But generally, all were amazing staff.
